Manifesto
Our imagery aims to provoke, tease, push & pull on pop culture, & inspire. In the world of commercial art we're always competing with every other pop image of the moment.
Our philosophy is to help capture the spirit of that which has been brought to us - be it an album, branding brief or video concept - & breath life into it visually. Products often go through exhaustive production time lines before we see them. So we aim to place as much care & attention on the graphic representation of that product as those creating the product in the first place.
More broadly, we aim to develop a sense of creative community with those we work with both in the studio & in a freelance capacity. This helps our clients receive the most up-to-date visual styling when it comes to conceptualising & the best result when it's time to get the project over the line.

In our photography, we like to use natural light to evoke a mood. In our illustration, we pursue tactile measures created with tangible human fingerprints that set apart quality from quantity. And finally, in our design work, we like to ensure clear communication, strong ideas, colours & direction - all the important ingredients that help our client's message stand out in a crowded visual world.
Since the popularisation of Getty and the stock image, we've noticed an impersonality appear in photographic Art Direction. We're now building an image library unique to Dreamer. Whilst we can't offer the diversity of a Getty, we're offering personally tailored and retouched photographs from all over the world for one-off licensing or multiple use. Locations include England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland & Australia. A small selection of shots is available for view in our Photography section. The full image library is available upon request.
We aim to craft a climate of mutual respect - client to designer: designer to client. The best solutions are those that come about in a respectful creative relationship. Trust also plays an important part – the client allowing the designer to take a risk and the designer acknowledging the client knows their product. We've worked extensively in the music design arena. So we're used to taking risks and seeing them pay off when it comes to visual recognition.
Perhaps you might think of us as graphic and digital alchemists. Design has a magical power that can often transmute the common idea into a substance of great value. Herein lies our greatest challenge. We work together hand in hand with the client, dealing direct rather than through filtered channels, to ensure an output of greater value.
